Suggestion Box: ECN Seeks User Views

Marian Hensler

Wanna speak your mind? Wanna say you like something about ECN? Wanna gripe about a computing bottleneck? Wanna say thanks?

Well, speak up...

A "suggestion box" has been placed online to make it possible for you to communicate about your views on the Engineering Computer Network. All the people employed by ECN work very hard to make our system the best it can be, but the only people who can really judge the effectiveness of a system are the people who actually use it.

You, as a system user, are in a great position to see what works well and what needs improvement. Please share your ideas. When that "idea light" flashes in your mind and you can see a way to make the network better, submit your thoughts. After all, a great idea gets better when shared.

It is easy to share your ideas by using the ECN suggest suggestion box. Send on your comments by typing:

    $mail suggest
     Subject:  your idea

     "I use the "xyz" program and
      it would be better if..."
          or
     "It irks me when...;
      why can't..."
