Sally Goldberg has joined the ECN staff as EE Site Specialist. She has been employed at Purdue since 1982. Sally transferred from the Computing Center where she was the principal liaison between the Computing Center and departments using office automation services on the RSTS computers. Prior to that she worked at Mechanical Engineering. She has a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently taking classes at Purdue to complete her degree in CS. Sally's office is located in MSEE 178. Stop by with any problems or suggestions you may have, or send mail to "sally."
Mike Moya has joined the ECN Software Support staff, specializing in Sun and Macintosh support. Mike received his BA in Computer Science from Purdue this May. His area of study was Computer Systems and Software. Mike was employed by ECN for a year and a half as a student technician prior to graduation. His office is located in MSEE 170 and his login is "moyman".
Ingo Cyliax will be leaving Purdue this fall to accompany his wife, Lisa, who has received a Rotary Foundation scholarship for study in France. Ingo served as the EE Site Specialist beginning in September 1985, after receiving his BSCEE from Purdue in August. He was promoted to his current Software Support position in May 1986, specializing in machine-to-machine communications software.
Dave Curry has resigned his position as Software Support Specialist to join the Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science (RIACS) in Moffett Field, California. Dave joined ECN as a student programmer and has served in staff Network Operations and Software Support positions since September 1985 while continuing to take courses toward his degree in Computer Science. Dave will be doing systems programming, software development and maintenance, and user consultation at RIACS.
