[previous article] [next article]Sam Kimery has transferred from Purdue's Mathematics Department to the ECN position of Support Software Specialist. IMSL software support, UUCP, and network news will Sam's major responsibilities. He is also scheduled to become the ECN wizard for the X Window System. He attended Purdue majoring in Electrical Engineering Technology. Sam provided system support for Sun workstation equipment while at the Mathematics Department.
Ken Rice has transferred from Mechanical Engineering to the ECN position of Computer Maintenance Engineer. He received a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue and has been employed at the University since 1975. He has been managing digital laboratory equipment at ME for the past six years. Ken's area of expertise for the ECN will be maintenance of Sun workstations and annex boxes.
