Mac Instructional Articles, Previous Newsletter Articles Assist New Mac Owners

Say you just got a new Maintosh Computer and you want to take advantage of all the old ECN No Name Newsletter articles about Mac's. To do this you can read previous issues of the NNN which are online.

              then pick       MasterContents

Once you have opened this file you will see that articles are listed by volume issue and topic/title. You can find those articles dealing with Macs by searching the file. Searching can be done with "/". However, does the article about Macs spell it "MACS" or "Macs"? You can search for both capital and lowercase letters at the same time by enclosing them in []s. After selecting MasterContents, then search for "/MAC", "/Mac" or "/M[aA][cC]".

From the MasterContents file you will discern the issue of NNN containing the article you are interested in. Once you open the correct issue, you can again use "/" to locate your topic and then read!
