DWB 2.0 Upgrade Update

Work continues on the upgrade of the DOCUMENTER'S WORKBENCH software from version 1.0 to version 2.0. As part of this upgrade the DWB 2.0 versions of tbl and pic have had various fixes installed and are now the default tbl and pic on all production ECN machines.

If the upgrade proceeds as planned the DWB 1.0 commands residing in /usr/dwb/1 will be removed sometime this summer. If you are currently using commands that access /usr/dwb/1 (such as "/usr/dwb/1/mmt") or have commands like this in any shell script files or aliases, please change these to use just the command name ("mmt" in this case) as soon as possible. If making this change causes problems in the way your documents print, please inform your site specialist.
