SSINFO:Online Life Easer

Students can now obtain the final exam schedule through the Student Services Information On-line (SSINFO). This system provides users with much information:

• a phone directory
• student job listings
• a tutor directory
• a calendar of important deadlines
• off-campus housing listings
• information about financial aid

SSINFO was created to allow students to obtain information in an efficient and convenient manner. It eliminates crowding around the job board, standing in a long line to ask a simple question about the deadline for commencement, or sitting and waiting for information on your financial aid loan. This program will hopefully also cut down on the amount of time that staff in various campus departments spend answering the same question again and again.

You can access SSINFO from any ECN terminal. Type:

                rlogin oasis.cc.purdue.edu -l ssinfo

and the main menu will appear on your screen. This menu will list the individual options for which information exists.
