New Face For Engineering Home Pages

NO NAME NEWSLETTER-- January 1995

Marian Delp

A new look will be coming to the Engineering home page.

When a system user on the Engineering Computer Network types Mosaic by default the Engineering home page appears in the Mosaic Document View window. In the near future the Engineering home page will become available in two different formats. A textual representation of the page will be available for faster upload and a newly designed graphical representation will be an optional choice for those people accessing the page from a workstation with graphical capabilities. Sue Ferringer from Engineering Production Office is working on the a fresh graphical face.

One of the benefits of working in an electronic medium, is that adjustment is possible and improvements can be adopted. As the Engineering portion of the Purdue Web evolves, it will become a better network of information if you share your ideas for innovation. Each Engineering school has or will be developing their own presence on the web; please communicate your suggestions to the Web services coordinator (webmaster) in your school.
