The Office of the Dean of Engineering has developed a listing of Engineering Student Organizations which has been placed on the Web. Is your organization listed? If not, please contact
Carolyn Percifield 765-494-5343 (carolynp@ecn.purdue.edu)
with information about your organization. All organizations listed are "officially" recognized student organizations via the Dean of Students plus have a relationship with Engineering.

This listing is still in the creation stage and while an attempt has been made to provide accurate information; it is likely that some of the information may not be current. Officers have a way of changing because of graduation or a new faculty advisor may be working with a group.

If your group is already listed on this web page, please have an organization officer or advisor fill out the electronic Engineering Student Organization Input Form located within the introduction paragraph of the main Purdue Engineering & Related Student Organization Web page (the URL is at the top of this article). The majority of the information requested in this electronic form is useful to the Dean's office for assisting student organizations reach their goals and providing helpful links between student groups and corporate sponsors.

Minimum information requested for the Web page:

  1. Organizational Mission.
  2. Head of Organization (student officer)
    (name, e-mail address)
  3. Organizational Mailing Address
  4. Faculty Advisor
    (name, campus address, e-mail address)
  5. URL for organization's home page

As an example, please look at the information in place for the Solar Racing Club with the link to their great home page complete with racing schedule and sponsors. The IEEE Computer Society's home page is resplendent with the smiling faces of their elected officials (plus their "Virtual Officer: Dilbert"). Check these pages out!
