What's Where On The Purdue Web
Michael S. Boyle
http://www.ecn.purdue.edu/search.whatswhere.html
Three ECN student employees were given the task of creating
a list of information which would have been valuable to them
during their first year at Purdue.
That list grew into the What's Where page available
off major Engineering web pages under the SEARCH button
on the bottom button bar.
This page contains a collection of links
concerning information about Purdue's West Lafayette campus
that is useful to both new students and upperclassmen.
Tutors
For a freshman,
one of the more important class related rules is to keep up.
But for the procrastinator in all of us,
a Web page of interest is the list of
Volunteer Tutors from the Dean of Students.
Campus Calendar
If you would like to know what next year's academic
calendar will be,
What's Where has links to Purdue's multi-year calendar.
Housing
One of the hardest and most time consuming parts
of moving away from home is finding a place to live.
Purdue has a page
to assist students trying to find housing.
While not giving an actual listing of
available housing, it does give a good idea of what housing is
available in West Lafayette with a rounded cost of living for each
alternative.
Student Clubs
Wouldn't be nice to find a list of student clubs at Purdue;
both those related to Engineering as well as general clubs?
Links to an alphabetical listing of all the Student Organizations
is placed online by the Dean of Students while the ECN has a listing
of Engineering related groups.
Each semester more and more organizations are putting up homepages,
so check back often to this link for updates.
These and many more links are listed by category on the ECN What's Where
page.
