Upgraded
Overall, the Matlab package did not change much over the summer. We did upgrade the Statistics Toolbox from Version 1.0 to Version 2.0.

New Purchases
These four toolboxes are presently installed on the ECN machines under a demo license. However the status for these packages is changing because these toolboxes have proven popular and the ECN is in the process of purchasing them.

• Matlab Compiler
• Communications Toolbox
• LMI Control Toolbox
• Mu-Analysis and Synthesis Toolbox

Demo Packages Expiring January 1, 1997
Installed under a demo license are these toolboxes.

• Chemometrics
• Fuzzy Logic
• Partial Differential Equation
• Symbolic Logic
• Wavelet

If you are interesting in these five toolboxes being available after January, or if you would like to try any other toolboxes under a demo license, you should contact your Site Specialist. You can confirm the availability of Matlab Toolboxes by invoking "matlab" and typing "ver" at the Matlab prompt. The resulting list will show all the Toolboxes installed along with their version numbers.
