Smart Searching
To do a search go the the Resume Homepage
and click search the resumes.
This will take you to form with lots of different
element, which you can use to customize your search.
One of the most useful tools to narrow down your
search is the Other Search Terms box. This
box allows you to search the actual text of a resume
for keywords. For example, If I were looking for a
student who had experience with the AutoCAD software
package, I could enter AutoCAD in the Other Search Terms
box, and it would only return resumes that contained "AutoCAD."
The search is not case sensitive, but it is sensitive
to punctuation and spacing, so it would be best if
instead of "AutoCAD," I used "AutoCAD Auto CAD Auto-CAD,"
That way, even if the student spelled it differently
than I am used to, I will still get his or her resume.
Search terms should not be seperated with commas,
spaces or tabs will do fine.
When you have finished entering search terms
click the Search button.
This will take you to a list of all students who
meet the criteria you selected. Their names are
links to their resumes.
