EE255: Announcements
4/21/06 Please remember that you have an assigned seat for the Final Exam on Thursday, May 4, from 1-3PM in EE270. To find your seat: Click Here For Seat Assignment. The outcome test is available at [Can you do this?] . This is an unusual test in that you can discuss with other students for this test only, but you can only turn in the solutions when you understand and have mastered the concepts pertaining to the problems. You must turn in the exam to obtain a grade other than F, unless you meet me for remediation. Please send e-mail to the course account to resolve any difficulties. The idea is that the outcome test will help you review for the final, and will provide every student who passes ECE255 a minimum set of capabilities. I am willing to help you with tutoring if necessary. That is one reason why we have the last week of regular class time set up as Help Sessions. Remember, please let me know of any serious difficulties that you may have. Watch this announcement link for news about the upcoming final exam. 4/3/06 Please remember that you have an assigned seat for the Exam 3 in SMITH 108. To find your seat Click Here. Notice that at the end of the homework solutions some more comments on the material covered in the lecture today are given. The comments are designed to answer the remaining questions that students have had regarding the frequency response of beta that we discussed on Friday and again today. The formula sheet is available early before the exam. It is here. 3/1/06 Please remember that you have an assigned seat for the Exam 2 in FRNY G140. To find your seat Click Here. 2/2/06 Please remember that you have an assigned seat for the exam. To find your seat Click Here. 1/12/06 Please remember that you are known by your "ph qualified name" in ECE255, but the alias to your name is used as the login name on the website. For example, john.a.doe.1 would be a qualified name, but John A. Doe would have an alias assigned such as "jdoe". To find your alias to the "ph qualified name" Click Here for PH Test . Next, click on your qualified name in the button that appears to display the alias as the top entry in a data list. 01/12/06 Neither I, nor our TA, have access to your password. This means you must find the password or set the password. Here are the steps for students to use to change or find a "ph password":
Go to http://www.purdue.edu/ssinfo
Then go to "Page Help" at the bottom of the page and follow the directions.

1/31/04 If you are in the student database, problems with the restricted site access can occur if the correct password is not being used with the alias to the "ph qualified name". Passwords can be reset quickly by swiping a student ID at stations such as those in Stewart Center and coordinating your accounts. 1/31/04 You will need a "ph password" to access parts of the website. As a test, click on Here for PH Test to check to see if you are in the "ph password" database. Then, click on your qualified name when it appears to see that your information is correct. You will see that an alias has been set for your qualified name. (The qualified name is usually first.middleinitial.last.1, but sometimes the numeral is not 1 on the end of the qualified name when there are multiple people with the same name.) Use the alias as your login and your "ph password" as the password.
