Purpose:

The purpose of the Purdue Nanotechnology Seminar Series is to foster interdisciplinary collaborations among Purdue researchers as well as establish interactions with faculty and corporate researchers at other institutions.

Goals:

Educate one another on key overlapping issues, i.e. develop common language. Innovate and develop new insights into interdisciplinary projects. Identify and explore possible collaborative interactions. Include good external speakers, in line with interdisciplinary nature of series.

Approach:

The seminar series is designed to provide weekly interactive seminars / discussions, 30 minute presentation by speaker followed by discussion with participants. The topics will rotate among the participating disciplines.
